Students of Ekiti State University are about now completing their examination which began two weeks ago.
So far, the first semester examination for 2014/2015 academic session has been a huge success with the examination time-table spaciously spread across all faculties to enable students have time for preparation
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oladipo Aina who was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. (Mrs.) Ibiyinka Ogunlade at various times moved round the examination centres and expressed satisfaction with the level of organisation and general comportment of students.
Prof. Ogunlade remarked that the incumbent leadership of the University under the Prof. Oladipo Aina has reduced examination malpractices. She explained that students have imbibed in the culture of no school fees, no examination as they paid their fees promptly as well as complete registration on time.
Commenting, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development), Prof Olufemi Adeoluwa added that “the vision of Ekiti State University is to rank among the best globally producing graduates who will be sought after in the global labour market”.
The Management had however, informed the students that Academic activities for the second semester 2014/2015 Academic would commence immediately after the examination.
