Nigeria’s senior women national team landed safely in Toronto on Wednesday evening ahead of the 2015 Fifa Women's World Cup in Canada.
Goal learnt that legendary striker Perpetua Nkwocha landed at the Toronto Pearson International Airport with the rest members of the team.
The 39-year-old four-time African Women Footballer of the Year may now nurse dreams of playing her fourth World Cup after participting in three straight World Cup outings in 2003, 2007 and 2011.
The Super Falcons had departed the country on Tuesday night enroute Paris, France from Abuja and arrived the capital city of Namibia after a 7-hour-flight.
In a related development, Goal understands that the duo of Evelyn Nwabuoku of Biik Kazygut and Francesca Ordega of Washington Spirits have both arrived in Canada from Kazakhstan and the United States of America. respectively.
The seven-time African title winners are the second country to arrive in Windhoek ahead of the seventh women international championship which holds from June 6 to July 5.
Nigeria is drawn alongside two-time winners USA, Sweden and Australia in Group D.
The Super Falcons will begin their campaign to go beyond the quarter-final record stage set at the 1999 edition against Sweden on June 8 in Winnipeg.
