The video calling feature for Facebook’s Messenger was announced at the end of last month but was limited to just 18 countries. Now the feature is available to users using the application worldwide. The feature was initially launched in Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, France, Greece, Ireland, Laos, Lithuania, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, UK, USA and Uruguay on both iOS and Android platforms. One of the scenes of the violence ... yesterday Three persons were reportedly killed yesterday in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, in a clash between drivers and Hausa traders. The clash paralysed traffic, commercial and social activities in the town for about eight hours. Fifteen shops were set ablaze and many vehicles damaged. The property destroyed belonged mainly to butchers and Hausa traders, who  launched counter-attacks against the drivers. The number of victims could not be ascertained as they were rushed to various hospitals by policemen and  sympathisers. Sources claimed that three persons died and an unspecified number injured but police spokesman Alberto Adeyemi said only four persons were injured. The police spokesperson said two units of Police Mobile Force (PMF) were deployed in the trouble spots. Anenih; Mu'azu The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu and the Board of Trustees Chairman, Chief Tony Anenih, on Wednesday bowed to pressure from key members of the party to resign. Mu’azu, in a letter he tendered during the PDP National Working Committee meeting in Abuja however cited “health grounds ” as the reason for his resignation. But Anenih, in a one-page letter   to President Goodluck Jonathan, hinged his action on the current state of affairs in the party. Mu’azu, a former governor of Bauchi State, had only last week dismissed calls for his resignation and warned that the PDP would be buried if he succumbed to the pressure. “The only reason Mu’azu doesn’t want to resign is because if he does, those who want the PDP buried will succeed,” he had added. ADO EKITI. FOURTEEN people were killed in separate violence that rocked Ekiti, Plateau and Benue states on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Three of the deaths were recorded in Ado Ekiti during a clash between transport workers and Hausa traders   while six were   in Plateau State where     gunmen invaded four villages in the Barkin Ladi Local Government Area. The third incident which was also by gunmen left five persons dead in Jooter, Ukum Local Government Area of   Benue state. The Ado Ekiti fracas was said to have started building up on Tuesday night when   a bag belonging to the wife of a chieftain of the road transport workers was snatched by unknown persons along the ever-busy Ijigbo-Old Garage area of the city.
