The Governor’s entourage moved on to the newly constructed school of Postgraduate Studies, the ongoing reconstruction of the University Library, the ongoing construction of Faculty of Management Sciences, Faculties of Science and Social Sciences.  Governor Fayose stopped and inspected construction works as well as shared suggestions with the contractors on site.

The Visitor commended the masterful architectural work at the new Faculty of Education, Entrepreneurship Centre and the ongoing construction of the multimillion naira students hostel which is a Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) arrangement.  The Vice-Chancellor pointed out the beautiful students union building donated by an Alumnus of the University, Hon. Kingsley Kuku who is the Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Amnesty.  The tour of the projects spread afforded the Visitor a rare opportunity to witness the unprecedented developmental achievements recorded in three and a half years leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oladipo Aina who had operated an open door and vision driven administration.

The Governor in his remarks, commended Prof. Aina led management team for its prudent management of resources adding that he was impressed with the remarkable growth in less than four years of leadership in EKSU.
