The TECNO Camon X Pro offers improved specs on the X for those who want a faster device with a much bigger internal storage. The X Pro features a 6 inch screen Full HD+ screen with a resolution of 2160×1080 and a 2.5D Curved Glass on top.

It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by a 2.0GHz Octa-Core processor and a 4GB RAM, it has a 64GB internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB via the SD micro SD card slot. Another upgrade the X Pro has on the Camon X is its 24MP front camera as opposed to the X with 20MP.

TECNO Camon X Pro Design and Display

The Camon X Pro is just like the Camon X design-wise with a smooth-shining plastic covering at the back, it measures 158.6 x 75.8 x 5.2mm in dimension with little bezels. Its fingerprint sensor is well mounted at the back and its 16MP back camera with the Ring Flash is clearly visible.

 n terms of display, there is a 6.0 FHD+ 2160×1080 resolution screen with a 2.5D Curved Glass protection. Just like the X, the X Pro comes with full screen display with a 75% screen to body ratio.

TECNO Camon X Pro OS and Software

The smartphone alongside the X are TECNO’s first devices ever to run on Android 8.1 Oreo based on the OEM’s custom HIOS v3.3.0 UI. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 2.0 Octa-Core processor and a 4GB RAM. It comes with a 64GB internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB via the micro SD card slot.

As known, every TECNO Camon devices are camera-centric and the X Pro is no different. It features a 16MP rear camera with Ring Flash and 24MP selfie shooter with Dual Flash. The phone’s camera picture quality will definitely be put to test when we are writing a review on a unit we got.

Camon X Pro Connectivity

One of the unique selling point of the smartphone is its Face ID recognition. Aside from the regular pattern, PIN and fingerprint sensor security, the smartphone can be unlocked with a facial ID recognition. It vibrates when it detects another Face is being tried to unlock the smartphone.
